Smorgasburg is the largest weekly open-air food market in America, attracting 20,000-30,000 people to Brooklyn each weekend to eat from 100 local vendors—Saturdays on the Williamsburg waterfront and Sundays in beautiful Prospect Park. It launched May 21, 2011, as a spinoff of Brooklyn Flea (founded in 2008), and has since launched dozens of small businesses and attracted millions of visitors. The New York Times dubbed Smorgasburg “The Woodstock of Eating."

Smorgasburg LA - Every Sunday

10am - 4pm

777 S Alameda St. Los Angeles

In addition to the weekend markets, Smorgasburg has overseen the concessions at Central Park SummerStage since 2010; has operated Berg’n, a beer and food hall in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, since August 2014; and ran a pop-up food hall/beer garden at the Seaport District from 2013 to 2016. Smorgasburg expanded in 2016 with a weekly year-round Sunday market in Downtown Los Angeles for 65 vendors.

Smorgasburg and Brooklyn Flea were co-founded by Jonathan Butler and Eric Demby.
